We believe that access to education is fundamental to breaking the vicious cycle of poverty that characterize the lives of underprivileged children in Zimbabwe. Your kind donation will empower these children with an education that will forever transform their lives and that of their community.
We aim to help children stay in school where they learn valuable skills that enable them to be contributing adults in their communities one day. Help for the children include funding for their overall education, nutrition, emotional and spiritual needs.
Our desire is to work with the most needy and most vulnerable children in Zimbabwe. However, it is also necessary to have a method to assess the relative poverty and vulnerability of children in need. Children are identified based on objective criteria that establish their needs and ability to benefit from the sponsorship. From a governance perspective, we work with local parish structures, schools and other welfare institutions that are similarly interested in assisting vulnerable children.
We prioritise children who:
We also establish if the child or family is already being assisted through alternative sources.
Special exemption may from time to time be made for a child not strictly meeting the above criteria but who in the considered view of the Trustees clearly needs support.
Your donation will transform and empower the life of a needy and vulnerable child in Zimbabwe. No donation is too small to help. All funds raised will be used entirely and solely on the children and for the purposes stipulated above.
