Can the charity claim Gift Aid on my donation?
Behold Your Mother (Jn 19:27) is registered with the Charity Commission in England and Wales (Charity No 1186775). It is also registered with HMRC for Gift Aid. The Gift Aid scheme enables registered charities to reclaim tax on a donation made by a UK taxpayer, effectively increasing the amount of the donation by 25%. (I am aware that we are still waiting for confirmation of registration from the HMRC).
